After a serious motorcycle crash in her teens, Dani Burt set out to overcome the challenges life sent her. The accident left her in a medically induced coma with extensive injuries and an above the knee amputation. With the help of physical therapists Dani was able to regain her ability to move as well as her self-confidence, ultimately leading her to take up surfing, enter college, become a PT herself, and gain the title of World Adaptive Surf Champion!
