Within the clinic:

  • We have established more stringent cleaning and disinfecting processes especially in “high touch” areas, with this being performed not only between patients but also at the end of the morning and the end of afternoon appointments.

  • We have set up immediate disinfection of each piece of equipment that a patient has come in contact with a proper cleaning agent as directed by the CDC (each office has prepared a bleach solution by mixing: 5 tablespoons (1/3rd cup) bleach per gallon of water or 4 teaspoons bleach per quart of water

  • We have placed hand sanitizer at the entrance of every location and we will ask that each patient/client or visitor immediately uses hand sanitizer upon entering the facility.

  • All patients will be encouraged to wash their hands before initiating treatment and after completing treatment

  • All employees are required to follow proper hygiene and cleaning for handwashing per the CDC (see above)

  • We have instituted a screening process for all individuals entering CTS facilities.  When confirming patient visits for the next day, when a new patient calls and when a patient arrives, they will be asked:

    • Do you have symptoms of a respiratory infection such as cough, fever, shortness of breath or sore throat?

    • In the last 14 days, have you had contact with someone with a confirmed diagnosis of COVID-19, someone under investigation for COVID-19 or are ill with respiratory illness?

    • Have you traveled internationally in the last 14 days to countries with sustained community transmission of COVID-19?

  • Any person answering “yes” to any of the above questions or having a temperature of 100.0 or above will not be allowed to stay in our facility as a patient or guest.

  • Temperatures of all entering will be taken.  If a person has a temperature above 100.0 they will not be allowed in the clinic

  • They will be allowed to return to the clinic after their temperature has returned to normal for 24 hours without the use of fever-reducing medication

  • We have restricted all outside visitors (where possible and practical)

  • We have asked that patients/clients not bring other non-patients or clients (family members, friends, and children) into the facilities

  • Patient no show/cancellation fees are suspended until further notice

  • We have provided visuals aides to remind employees and patients of safe conduct

  • We have successfully launched the use of telehealth for our patients/clients that prefer to remain at home
